Bring These Documents To Your Appointment

Unlike other law firms, we do not ask you to fill out a lengthy questionnaire. All you need to do is call to schedule your appointment and bring the following information with you:

1. A list of all your debts, including the name and address of each creditor, the account number and the outstanding balance. An easy way to gather this information is to simply bring your bills to your appointment. This may include credit card balances, medical bills, mortgage information and any other bills. Please try to eliminate any duplicate bills (multiple statements for the same accounts).
2. All pay stubs for the six-month period before the month of your consultation. For example, if your appointment is on June 15, you will need to bring pay stubs from December 1 through May 31. You should also bring any pay stubs that you have received during the month of your appointment. If you are self-employed or are unable to locate your pay stubs, please contact our law firm for instructions.
3. A complete copy of your most recent federal income tax return.

If you are unable to find all of the above items before your scheduled appointment, just bring as much information as you can. If there are missing items, we can get them from you at a later date.

If you are married, it is not absolutely necessary to bring your spouse with you to your appointment. However, please try to bring your spouse with you to your appointment, even if he or she is not interested in filing bankruptcy.
